The 22 km race is restricted to people over 18. Runners over 15 may enter the 17 km and 12 km races with a declaration from a parent or guardian. Mandatory kit and safety
A phone, container holding at least 0.5 litres, cup and survival blanket are mandatory for all three distances. A windproof jacket is mandatory for the 22 km and 17 km races; the organiser may change the required kit according to the weather forecast.
The event runs on open roads. Each participant is responsible for road crossings and complying with traffic law. These are mountain routes requiring self-sufficiency, suitable fitness and the ability to manage technical ground and elevation.
Race office, companions and staying locally
Race office is announced for 1 November from 07:30 to 09:00 beside the start. Bib collection requires proof of entry, and athletes should bring safety pins or a race belt. The exact point and any companion areas are Being updated.
Casa da Rua Nova is in Castelo de Vide's Jewish Quarter. For an early start, it provides a base in the historic centre and reduces arrival logistics; confirm the final race location before deciding whether you can walk there. Non-runners can visit Fonte da Vila, the Jewish Quarter and the castle, but should not enter race trails unless directed by the organiser.
