Castelo de Vide
Castelo de Vide is a Portuguese town in the district of Portalegre, Alentejo region and subregion of the Alentejo with about 2300 inhabitants.2 The municipality limits the north by Spain to the east by the municipality of Marvão, the south by the municipality of Portalegre, Crato southwest by the municipality and the west and northwest by the city of Nisa.

The penthouse apartment was very spacious and comfortable, newly and nicely decorated with many authentic and both modern details. Wi-fi was strong and fast enough to work. Kitchenette was small, but fully equipped for cooking.

The remodel of an ancient building included keeping the natural stone, shape and character of the apartment while adding fun contemporary design elements. Great layout and a view from the windows, right in the center of the village and a place to park a car. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day.

That was our second visit at Casa da Rua Nova. Same as before – we have liked it very much! Spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated, good wi-fi, etc.
